General Info
  • Is the campsite opened?

    Yes. This season, Camping Joan is opened daily from 17/01/22 to 11/12/22.

  • How I get to the campsite?

    Camping Joan is just 2 km away from Cambrils city, on the N-340 southbound. You can reach our facilities by car, plane, train or public transport.

    You can find more detailed information at our "Location" Section.

  • Do I have to wear a required identification bracelet?

    Yes, the Camping Joan bracelet serves to identify the guests staying at the campsite and gives access to the facilities and activities. It must be worn in a visible manner throughout the stay.

  • Are dogs allowed?

    Yes, dogs are allowed in plots, prior registration required. They must be tied and under control at all times (it is not allowed to leave them alone). According to the Pet Law dogs must be duly identified and shall be in possession of a valid Civil liability insurance, the health certificate and the correct veterinary certificate or passport according to each animal species. Dogs whose races are considered dangerous are not allowed according to the regulations of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government).

    Dogs and any other kind of pets are forbidden in the accommodations.

  • Can I make barbecues during my stay?

    Barbecues are authorized when weather conditions allow it, you don't disturb those around you and always in the area facing the street. It is strictly forbidden to light fires in the campsite, the beach and the surroundings.

  • Is the campsite water drinkable?

    Yes, all fountains in the campsite and the different water points supply drinking water.

  • How many cars can I drive into the campsite?

    All stays, both in accommodation and in a pitch, have a parking for one vehicle inside the campsite included in the price.

    If you are staying in a bungalow, a mobile-home or an apartment, you have an assigned a parking space, as close as possible to your accommodation. You can check the parking areas on the campsite map.

    In the pitches area case, the vehicle must be parked within the plot itself.

  • Until when can I drive around te campsite?

    The circulation of vehicles is permitted from 7am to 12am. Outside these hours, access and movement of vehicles for internal displacement are prohibited. Therefore, if you are scheduled to leave before 7am or arrive later than midnight, you must leave your car outside the campsite and walk in.

    From 12am to 7am, circulation of vehicles is forbidden except in previously authorized emergency situations.

    Bicycles can circulate around the campsite from 7am to 9pm. Cyclists must respect the road signs at all times.

  • Can I come to spend a day at the campsite without staying here?

    It's not possible. Our facilities are aimed only for people who stay at Camping Joan and the visits that they register in their stay contract.

  • Can I go to the restaurant if I am not staying at the campsite?

    Yes. You can enjoy both Bar Restaurant La Palmera and Xiringuito Restaurant del Mar, but you will not be able to access into any other facilities as they are exclusively for clients staying at the campsite.

  • Can I receive visits?

    Due to the current situation, visits will be allowed depending on the campsite's occupancy. We recommend you to ask at Reception about the possible restrictions might be during your stay.

    You must remember that, if they are allowed, visits must be registered at the Reception by delivering the ID or Passport and pay the corresponding fee.

  • Can I arrive during the night time?

    Our Reception is operational 24 hours a day. We recommend that if you are planning to arrive during the night, notify us in advance so that we have everything ready when you arrive.

    If you stay in accommodation, you can settle in at any time trying not to make noise. If you arrive later than 24h you will have to park the car outside the campsite and walk in.

    If you stay on a pitch, remember that, in accordance with the campsite regulations, it will not be possible to circulate into the campsite from 12am to 7am. After 24am, it will not be possible to mount your camper/tent, to respect the hours of restof the other guests.

  • Can I rent bikes during my stay?

    Yes, we have an hours or days bicycle rental servic, with different sizes bicycles and the possibility of taking a child seat. You can hire this service at Reception.

  • Can I take my dog to the beach?

    Dogs are allowed on the beach from November, 1st to March, 31st.

    From April 1 to October 31, pets will only be able to access the beaches specially designated for them. In Cambrils, there is a dogs beach located at the end of the Alforja stream, in a delimited and signposted section.

  • Can I go fishing at the campsite beach?

    In Cambrils, rod fishing is allowed on all the beaches of the city from June, 15th to September, 15th in a limited schedule in a night time slot, from 9pm to 3am, as long as you have the necessary permissions to perform activity.

  • What does it mean that the campsite is certified with the SAFE TOURISM seal?

    "Safe Tourism Certified" is a seal that recognizes tourist establishments that apply important security protocols. It is awarded by Institut per a la Qualitat Turística Espanyola (the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute).

Bookings & Cancellations
  • How can I make a reservation?

  • Where can I see the campsite rates?

    Through our booking engine you can calculate the final price for your stay, taking into account all the variables of the reservation: types of accommodation, number of occupants, date of entry and exit, accessories...

  • Is it necessary to pay a deposit to confirm my reservation?

    Yes. To formalize the reservation a 35% of the total amount of the stay must be paid. This amount can be paid by credit card, or by bank transfer when the arrival date will be later than 7 days after booking.

  • Which is the cancellation policy?

    Our cancellation policy, based on the date of your notification, is:

    • more than 30 days = 100% refundable
    • between 30 and 7 days = 50% refundable
    • less than 7 days = 0% refundable

    Special offers and promotions may be subject to their own cancellation policy which will be stated when making the reservation.

    In case of a booking cancellation you must notify the Reception by sending an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The campsite will always send an email confirming the cancellation of the reservation, and notifying the client about the refund process of the reservation prepayment in accordance with our cancellation policy. If we have to return you the deposit or a part of it, the administration department will do it by the end of the month following the cancellation date.

    Camping Joan Bungalow Park reserves the right, in case of overbooking or any other justifiable reason, to cancel the reservation within a maximum period of 48 hours after your request. In this case, we are committed to notify the client as soon as possible and if the reservation prepayment has been already paid, the amount would be fully refundable.

  • Do I have to pay the entire stay when I arrive at the campsite?

    The stay must be fully paid at the time of registration. Payment can be made in cash or credit/debit card.

  • Do I have to pay te entire stay even if I leave earlier?

    Yes. In case the client cannot run the entire reserved stay, won't be entitled to compensation for the unused vacation days.

  • Do I have to pay a securit deposit?

    If you stay in an accommodation, you must pay a deposit of 100€ per accommodation, which will be returned at your departure as long as the accommodation is left in the same conditions as it has been found.

    If you stay on a pitch, you do not need to pay a deposit.

  • Can I contract a cancellation insurance?

    Yes, it can be contracted as long as there is more than a month left for the date of your arrival.

  • Can I book two accommodations or pitches together?

    At the moment of the booking making, the system randomly allocates an accommodation or pitch among those available at that time. If you have any special preference, you can write it in the comments area you will find during the reservation process or by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. indicating your preferences.

    For less than one week stays we do not confirm the number of accommodation or plot. However, we strive to take the utmost account of the needs and preferences of our clients.

    A specific plot or accommodation is always subject to request and will be confirmed upon availability. However Camping Joan Bungalow Park reserves the right to change the plot or accommodation while respecting another one of the same or a higher category.

  • On the departure day, can I stay at the campsite after leaving my accommodation or pitch?

    Yes. Once you have left your accommodation or pitch, you can continue enjoying the campsite facilities. You will have to park your vehicle in the unnumbered parking area (if there is space) or park it outside the campsite.

    We have a left-luggage office with a fridge available to customers, so you can leave your luggage and food if you need it.

  • Until when will the reservation be kept?

    The non-payment of the reservation prepayment within 48 hours will lead to the immediate cancellation of the reservation request.

    The reservation will be kept until 12am on the next day of the arrival date provided on your reservation. After this period, Camping Joan Bungalow Park reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

  • Must I be of legal age to make a reservation??

    Yes. The reservation holder must always be of legal age.

  • What is the tourist tax?

    It is a tax that is applied when someone stays in a tourist establishment. The client must pay the tourist tax directly to the campsite: 0,66 € per person/day, up to a maximum of seven nights (children under 16 are exempted).

  • Can I make my check-in online?

    We have activated the AUTO CHECK-IN system, with the aim of shortening the time at the reception and speeding up the CHECK-IN process. One week before your arrival you will receive an email with the instructions and the link to carry out this procedure.

    It is necessary that you enter the necessary data for your registration, make the payment for the entire stay and accept the conditions.

    This procedure is available up to two days before the arrival date.

  • Do you have any special discounts?

    The campsite has some special promotions for specific dates. You can check which ones are available at the "Offers" section of the website.

Accommodations
  • What capacity do the accommodations have?

    The maximum occupancy of the accommodation varies according to the accommodation type, ranging between 2 and 6 people, children included. For safety reasons, this capacity cannot be exceeded.

    At the "Accommodation" section, the capacity for each type of accommodation is indicated.

  • What time can I enter the accommodation?

    Arrival time is from 4pm to 12am. We cannot guarantee that the accommodation is ready to move in before this time.

  • What time should I leave the accommodation?

    The accommodation must be left before 12 noon

  • Is it possible to leave the accommodation after than the stablished time?

    If your accommodation is not occupied again that day, it is possible to contract the Late Check Out service and leave the accommodation until 6pm. This service has a cost of 15€.

    Check with Reception if there is availability on your departure day.

  • Is there air conditioning on the accommodations?

    At this time, only at the bungalows Pod Junior, Costa Junior Pool, Costa Confort Pool, Costa Confort White, Costa Aventura and Costa Deluxe, as well as all the apartments and mobile-homes, you will find air conditioning.

    We are working to offer this service in all our accommodations as soon as possible.

    At the "Accommodation" section, accommodations equipped with air conditioning are indicated.

  • Do the accommodations include sheets and towels?

    Accommodations do not include bed linen or towels (except at Bungalows Costa Deluxe).

    You can book this service for 7€ per person and per week. If you reserve it in advance, you will find them placed on your accommodation when you arrive.

  • Do the accommodations include beach towels?

    Accommodations do not include beach towels towels (except at Bungalows Costa Deluxe, and only from April 1st to October 12nd).

    You can book this service for 5€ per person and per week.

  • Are ther pillows in the accommodation?

    Yes, all our accommodations are equipped with pillows for all its occupants.

  • Will I find bedspreads in the accommodation?

    Yes, all our accommodations have bedspreads.

  • Will I find blankets in the accommodation?

    Yes, in all our accommodation we leave blankets for courtesy.

  • Do you have cots and high chairs available for babies?

    Yes, we have a children's kit that includes a cot and high chair.

    You can book this service with a cost of 15€ for stays of up to 4 days or 30€ for longer stays. We recommend you to reserve it in advance to guarantee its availability and, this way you will find them placed in the accommodation upon your arrival.

  • Do I have to clean the bungalow on the departure day?

    On the departure day, the accommodation must be left clean in the conditions in which it was found: furniture (beds, tables...) must be in its original place, kitchen utilities must be in good conditions and clean, fridge and bin must be empty, countertops, cabinets and drawers must be free of any type of object, used bed sheets and towels must be in the same place (only if you have rented them) and barbecues must be left clean, in the same condition as they were found.

    In the event that the accommodation is not left as it was found, 30€ will be deducted from the deposit as a cleaning fee.

  • Can I hire the cleaning service for the bungalow?

    Yes, we offer two types of cleaning service:

    • Daily cleaning service: it has a cost of 9€ per day and includes the cleaning of the rooms, the bathroom and the terrace (kitchen is not included).
    • End-of-stay cleaning service : it costs 30€ and with service we help you leave the accommodation as you found it, doing the bungalow complete cleaning except for kitchenware and crockery.
  • Are the accommodations equipped?

    In all our accommodations you will find a kitchen, private bathroom and beds. They are fully equipped with appliances, kitchen utensils and crockery for all occupants. Among others, you will find a television, fridge , microwave, clothes-line...

  • Do the accommodations have a hairdryer?

    At the moment, only some accommodations are equiped with hairdryer: all our mobile-homes (Sun Confort Sunset, Sun Confort Beach and Sun Family) and Bungalows Costa Deluxe.

    At the "Accommodation" section, the accommodations equipped with hairdryer are indicated.

  • Can I place a tent next to the accommodation?

    It is not allowed to place tents (none a single kind, for example for children) on the grass outside the accommodation.

Pitches
  • What capacity do the pitches have?

    The maximum number of people per plot is 6, including children. For safety reasons, this capacity cannot be exceeded.

  • What time can I enter the pitch?

    Arrival time is from 12pm to 12am.

  • What time should I leave the pitch?

    The plot must be left before 12 noon.

  • Is it possible to leave the pitch after than the established time?

    If your plot is not occupied again that day, it is possible to contract the Late Check Out service and leave the pitch until 6pm. This service has a cost of 10€.

    Check with Reception if there is availability on your departure day.

  • Do the pitches have direct water connection?

    Yes, our Superior Confort and Plus Confort pitches have water connection and gray water draining service on the pitch. At the "Accommodation" section, you can see more information about these plots.

    In addition, distributed all around the campsite we have fountains and water points with drinkable water.

  • Which electricity power do the plots have?

    All plots have 5 Amps of electrical power.

    In addition, in our Superior Confort and Plus Confort pitches you have the option to hire an extra power supply (10 or 16 Amps). At the "Accommodation" section, you can see more information about these plots.

  • Can I rent a fridge during my stay?

    Yes, we have a fridge rental service. You can hire this service at Reception.

  • Can I rent a pitch for the whole season?

    We do not have plots available for the entire season neither special prices for this kind of stays. If you wish, you can pay the daily rate at any given time.

  • If I don't need electricity supply, is the pitch rate cheaper?

    No. The daily rate always includes a 5-amp electrical connection.

  • Do the pitches have shade?

    We have many trees scattered throughout the campsite, especially in the pitches area. However, we cannot guarantee 100% of shade.

  • Where can I park my car?

    All stays include the parking of a vehicle inside the campsite included in the price.

    In the case of the pitches bookings, the vehicle must be parked within the same plot.

  • Is there a grey water emptying service?

    Yes. It is available for free to all customers staying at the campsite.

  • Can I use the grey water emptying service even if I am not staying at the campsite?

    Yes, you can use the caravan emptying service even though you are not staying at the campsite. This service costs 3€.

  • Can I place awnings or ropes on the pich?

    Out of respect for the environment and coexistence with the others guests, it is totally forbidden to install awnings, umbrellas, separation fences, separation modules or any other item for which has not prior authorization obtained.
